Hi.
A friend of mine brought over a fair sized box of tubes to prowl through and
see if there were any that I needed. Some were TV, some were military (like
2D21 Thyatrons) etc but I did find a few I could use. However, I also found
the following Western Electric tubes that "may" be of use to someone out
there. The numbers on these all look/sound familiar to me from the days
when I worked on some military microwave systems. If these are the tubes I
remember there are NO known suitable substitutes for them that I am aware
of. So, if somebody has any gear using them they will make good spare stock
to have on hand.
NOTE: ALL ARE UNBOXED PULLS, LOOK NEW BUT I AM UNABLE TO TEST IN MY TUBE
TESTER. So they are offered "as is". Date codes on the tubes that have
them are 56/57 vintage. All are 7/9 pin miniatures.
The tubes (Western Electric numbers):
1. 396A (2 each)
2. 399B (1 each)
3. 400B (1 each)
4. 401A (2 each)
I am NOT in the parts business, these are only offered as I think they may
be of real use to someone.
Take all 6 for $6.00 which INCLUDES shipping to the lower 48. You can see
I'm not getting rich off them <grin>.
73 from the "Beaconeers Lair".
