[Boatanchors] Boatanchors - packing

Sounds like the voice of experience.

Is there any other way to use the Ethafoam for the "home shipper" than
buying stock and cutting it to fit.
The reason I liked the Instapak approach is that it allowed custom foam fit
for odd size packages.
However the non rebound property of the instapak is clearly something that
won't work with high density "stuff".

Regards

Dennis,
The problem with the Instapak packs is with heavier items it has no
memory i.e. each time it is dropped the weight cause the foam to settle
and no rebound like Ethafoam. It has a density of .40 lbs per Cu ft. so
anything in excess of about 50 #'s will cause it to deform.
