If I ship a boatanchor, I always wrap it in 2" blue styrofoam first. This
extra thickness enables me to cut out for the knobs and switches. Also be
sure to remove all tubes and pack well as they will get loss. I always
bubble wrap the tubes, label them and put them inside the cabinet if
possible.
