Colton Lear, a 2 year old baby in Lake City Fla (our neighbor) has =
terminal Rhabdoid Brain Tumor cancer.
Very rare & very deadly. (80 percent mortality rate within 11 months)
Since 6/03 he has had 7 operations & is currently in Shands Medical =
Center - Oncology Section
Gainesville Fla where he just had a Stem Cell transplant operation.
White Blood Cell count dropped to "Zero" last night & Platelet count is =
way down to 178.
Life expectancy is estimated at 8 - 9 months without medical =
breakthrough or miracle.
Medical expenses since 6/03 have exceeded $120,000.00 & still climbing =
for the family.
XYL & I are working on fund raising to help with medical & family =
related expenses.
This is excellent opportunity for Boatanchor Collectors & users to "step =
up to the plate - do what we all do best always",
and make our voices & wallets heard throughout the world to help this =
child & his family.
"No man stands so tall as to when he stoops to help a child in need"
