Hi Sandy,
I'm looking for the RMCA or MacKay receivers I mentioned, to finish my
Liberty ship radio room mock-up. I have a Federal Telegraph and Radio FT-102
HF radio console, with a MacKay 167 BY HF transmitter and an RMCA AR-8506-B
receiver. As I probably won't ever find the 150 AY VLF transmitter, I'm
looking at least for the receiver which was used in that setup. BTW the
FT-102 would be correct with a Scott SLR-F receiver as well - either the
RMCA or the Scott were used.
For a "heavy metal" Navy VLF receiver I'll get an RBA, as it'll match my
RBB/RBC receivers...
Thanks,
73, Meir WF2U

If you are looking for a quality VLF receiver, don't overlook
the old Navy "RAK" series! Very good VLF set! Big, ugly,
and heavy, but excellent! It will run rangs around the Mackay 128 or
3001 receiver!
