Subject: IF alignment??
Pardon my ignorance, I really should know this already.... What =
equipment should I own for doing IF alignments on the boatanchor =
receivers, SP-600, SX-28, Racal RA 17 etc. It seems to me that a sweep =
generator in sync with a scope would work or maybe a spectrum analyzer. =
My concern is response symmetry in various bandwidth modes. I'm finding =
that the old sig gen and meter(or scope) just don't cut it. I am also =
interested in a similar(or even the same ) setup for doing FM radios as =
well. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!! Ross Hochstrasser
