"Copper Cap"  is a brand name for a line of rectifier substitutes marketed to the audio business.  Their web page is at http://www.webervst.com/ccap.html  .   The also offer a plugin solid state substitute for an OA2 regulator.

They claim their devices match warmup and voltage drop characteristics of vacuum tube rectifiers, but save the filament power.

I haven't tried these products, and would like to hear from anyone who has.
