There was no date!  It has been dated from the first
century AD.

Also, the inscription was "James, son of Joseph,
brother of Jesus" ("Christ" was NOT part of the
inscription).  Now, all three names were quite common
in that part of the world during those times.  Thus,
the jury is out on this one!  There are people who
believe that it has a connection and those who don't
believe there is a connection to one Jesus Christ!
