[Boatanchors] CE100V audio problem

Hi,  
I have a CE100 that I'm trying to use as an exciter for

a linear. On AM as it heats up it generates a rumbling

sound (it self modulates..sounds like the background 

noise you hear on a windy day in an open mic). It

works FB on CW. Checked all the tubes and cleaned the

relay. Caps and resistors look good in the V1 the first audio.

Anyone out there familiar with this rig or who has a suggestion?
