If you have the 1966-68 ARRL handbook, it is the featured 6m converter.
I have followed the alignment procedure, but the rf stage is still unstable.
Works great with the rf tube pulled and the antenna connected to the mixer
hi.
I am going to try a metal partition separating the rf stage grid and plate
tanks and bypassing the filaments.
The neutralizing LC network also uses a disc cap and will replace it with a
silver mica .001
Don't know what else to try?
