Greg,
Yes. S2 connects the Q multiplier across the output of the first mixer, and also injects the BFO
here. 1/2 of V4 a 12AX7 is the BFO and the Q multplier.
Strang but true.
To see how it should be done, checkout the HQ-150, nice circuit, it has a peak AND null, and a
seperate BFO injected at the 2nd detector.
