Next Saturday, the 14th, is the Midland (Michigan) hamfest
(http://www.qsl.net/w8kea/images/SWAP2003.gif). The Midland club has a
large number of tubes for sale if you need something to get that old rig
working.
I have been cleaning out the shack and have a number of items that may be of
interest to some. I won't ship these, and I won't have a table. But if you
plan to come up to Midland for the swap (or if you are going to be in the
area for some other reason), send me an email and we will see what we can
do.
- Hickock R.F.O. 1 Cathode Ray Oscillograph
- CKB-74028 Frequency meter. This item is mounted in a 19" panel
with a power supply
- Signal Corps I-177 Tube tester. This is in a beautiful ammo
case style case with no flaking of the original paint
- Hewlett Packard 400D VTVM
I also have a nice Model 15 Teletype with stand. However, I can't get this
thing out of the basement so if you are interested, you will need to bring 2
men and a boy along.
All of these items worked whenever I last used them, which was decades ago
(except I can't recall ever trying the tube tester). Since they have been
sitting for at least 15 years, I'm reluctant to spend the time to power them
up properly.
