[Boatanchors] Grebe Radio

First of all, are the three controls linked together
with a chain so that turning one turns all three? If
so, then this is actually a Grebe MU-2. The only
thing that was different between the two models is the
chain drive. However, most of the MU-2 units are
still labeled MU-1.

Frankly, the 30L-1 is worth a fair amount more than
the Grebe (like 2 to 3 times). Among antique /
vintage radio collectors the MU-1 / MU-2 is a
relatively common radio. I have had one that is in
excellent condition for well over 20 years. In fact,
there is a photo of it on the K9STH website that is
listed at the end of this message.
