Hi Rodney- I'm saving your contact info. Maybe we'll both get lucky. However the SLR & SLRM are two different radios. As I recall, the SLRM is the one with the built-in speaker. The SLR is a larger over 100lb. beast that requires a separate speaker. The panel screws may be the same, but the strips are probably different. Roger K7DDG
