Hello All... Would anyone experienced with replacing the tube finals in =
a Hallicrafters SR-160 transceiver be willing to send along some tips on =
what to look out for when replacing the 12DQ6B's? The xcvr works well =
right now but the finals are tired from age. I've read the Halli manual =
for the neutralization process and don't quite understand it yet. It's a =
nice unit and I would hate to louse it up. Any "coaching" (like a check =
list or to-do list) for those of you who have the time and energy to =
help would be greatly appreciated. I've completed all the other work =
needed to electrically restore this one, now I need to replace the =
finals to finish it up. I plan to keep this for my own use. Please email =
direct ([email protected]). Thanks in advance & 73, Bill, K0JWP
