Get something with at least 12 tubes in it. Don't get anything with silliycon rectifiers.
You want something with a 5U4 in it. Yeah. And push-pull audio output. How about a
Hallicrafters SX-28? They get a little warm (at least the left half of the cabinet does).
Or you could series string 24 5U4's on the wall of your shack and connect them to
the 120v wall outlet. The 360 watts they dissipate should help a little. Just watch out
for thermal runaway and don't start an amplifire.
