[Boatanchors] Wrinkle Paint, Mouse mess, and Earl Schieb

Oh Man, I'm just getting caught up on emails over the holidays and just =
had to comment on this BA topic of Earl Scheib.  A looong time ago my =
dad had me drive his 68 VW to Earl Scheib for either a $19.95 or $29.95 =
paint job.  Dad did all the body work, sanding, and did detail taping =
before I left the house.  I got to Sheibs for the paint job.  Did I want =
the 'wet sanding'?  Yes, extra couple bucks to make sure no bugs stuck =
to the car on the drive up.  While I was waiting I walked around the =
shop.  There was a clearly repainted nasty lime green Cadillac where the =
owner decided not to pay for the extra 'wet sanding', so all the bugs on =
the hood were simply painted over.  By the way, since Dad did all the up =
front body work, sanding, and prep, the VW paint job turned out just =
fine! =20
