I would like to followup...First to apologize for the 'error' of naming the 6J6 as a
"sub" for
the 6211.  This is the "lone" substitution listed but was in the "close" column of
one of the substitution handbooks I have.  I did not research the tube as things have
been hectic and there wasn't time at that moment.
After looking at all the known "JEDEC 9A" based tubes, none of them are really
direct substitutes.  The tube is rather in between the 12AU7 and 12AT7 types
in characteristics.  It would be worth a try to "sub" them for 12AU7 and 12AT7 types
and I'm sure in certain applications they would work.

Again sorry for the hasty error!
