"Thank yous" to everyone who took the time to offer insights into the turns 
counter on the Murch tuner I bought on eBay.  Lots of good ideas already, and 
more to come.  

BTW - For those interested in the eBay transaction aspects of this tuner... 
The seller of the unit has agreed to refund a portion of the purchase price, 
so that's a help.
