It would be 'terrific' if one of you would compile and edit a single article
with all of this Dow key relay info in it. It would make a great reference
source in the future for those needing this information. I will post it on the
HCI web site in the 'restoration' area.

Thanks to womever takes on this worthwhile task -

Hi Ken,

In my case, it didn't help a bit, but those were the days of 45mhz TV IFs and
we lived in a deep fringe area. The ONLY TV station was 100 miles away and
it was like watching the yetti in a snow storm. The FCC had a standard
letter which it sent as a reply to any TVI complaints it received from the
area which stated that technically, you weren't supposed to expect to see the
signal at all and there was nothing they could or would do about it.

In addition, it was the top of the sunspot cycle and KPRC in Houston,
operating on channel 2, would complete wipe out the weak channel 3 signal
from the station in Charlotte, NC. When that happened, KPRC was 5-9+++ and a
truly beautiful signal, but you had to go to channel 2 to see it. We lived
in Asheville, NC, BTW.
