Not as long as you use a Low Pass Filter and have a decent ground John. I
have used various T/R Switches for years with new and old rigs, at low
power and at high power, and have had no problems with them at all.
Furthermore, "true coaxial relays" are incapable of anything like
break-in... and worst of all: the price in Allied's new catalog (which I
just got yesterday), for an honest-to-gosh new Dow-Key (well... I THINK
they were by Dow-Key: coaxial, with the sealed, metal-covered coil, and
auxiliary contacts) was over $350-$400 depending on the configuration.
Unbelievable!
