[Boatanchors] FS : Hammarlund HQ 129X receiver

For Sale:  a nice HQ129X.

Cosmetically, on a scale of 1 to 10, it is probably a 7. A few small 
scratches on the case, and a couple of unexplained holes drilled on 
each side, as if it were suppose to have handles.  I have been told 
that this radio did not come with handles in its original 
configuration.  Probably an "add-on" by a previous owner.  All 
controls work, and it receives very well.  The dial needs to be 
calibrated with the VFO (i.e. - readout is not actual frequency - off 
by several kc) . There is a simple procedure in the manual for this. 
I just haven't gotten around to doing it.  I have a "downloaded" copy 
of the manual from BAMA, which will be put on CD for the buyer.
