Its about time i got some decent test equipment. Working with a VOM
over the years is getting harder to do.
What i'd like is some suggestions on a good "o" scope and frequency
counter. I don't or should say can't afford Business top of the line
quality. Furthermore i don't think i need anything like that.
I need to be able to look at different wave forms in rx and tx
applications. Boatanchor mainly. The latest round of equipment being
TMC and solid state as well but 60's technology. Trying to trace a
signal thru this exciter is most difficult without some means of seeing
what's there and the amplitude also.
Freq. counter should cover up to 500mc i suppose.
Not knowing what i should be looking for/at leaves me not knowing what
questions to ask. Can one find a decent scope with built in audio osc.
or are we getting into the big $$ with that added feature.
Help from some of you experts would certainly be appreciated. This
could be a lot more fun than it is.
Thanks to all.
