We're probably worred about nuthin'. I'm sure they plan to replace all
the power lines with shielded cable, right? Don't forget, before twisted
pair for 10-and 100-base T, there was "thin-net" and before that there
was, uhhh ... "thick-net". This will be, uhhh ... I dunno.
Only thing, what RG- type is suitable for 17 KV high tension lines?
Naturally those big transformers on the ground with all those big
insulators and the chain-link with barbed wire on top will have to be
enclosed in Faraday shields.
No problem. They have to shield it all, right? Otherwise some
enterprising young fellahs might get it into their heads to set up the
right receiving, decoding and deciphering equipment and intercept credit
card numbers, SSN's, and who-knows-what -- big time.
Oooops -- I shouldn't have written that. Tsk, tsk. If that concern were
to spread around, why nobody concerned about security would want to
subscribe to it, and that would be terrible, wouldn't it?
