I think that the lack of response is that most hams really don't
understand
the far reaching effect of BPL and just want to work DX, CW, QRP,
ragchew, etc and consider most of this as "headquarters politics", or
"just
another solicitation for money". I don't mean to offend anyone who
does understand the implications.
This is really serious stuff which will impact our hobby, guys. Please
got to the ARRL web site http://www.arrl.org and read some of the
studies, comments, etc.

True enough Jim. I also hope those in this thread have sent in comments
for the NOI;
I think a total of 1900 comments were received, about 1500 of those from
amateurs. That's a pretty pathetic number out of about 600,000 licensed
hams.
