If you, or some person you know of, is the proud owner of the Minerva Tropic
Master WW2 morale receiver model W-117, and said person, is in need of the
following information, I have it.

1. Original schematic that came withe the set. This is not from Riders or Sams
or some other source. This is the actual schematic supplied by MCA. It shows a
pair of 50L6 in the push/pull audio output stage. Later models used a pair of
25L6. I have a schematic for that version also.

2. The original data sheet that came with the receiver. As far as I have been
able to tell, this is the only known copy to yet exist. It is this document that
clearly states the receiver was manufactured for the United States Army and
Navy. Proof positive that it was indeed a WW2 morale receiver. There has been
some controversy on this point for many years. It was later sold to the general
public about July of 1945. I can supply a copy.

3. I have the five restoration articles written by Mark Ellis published in
Popular Electronics in 1995. They deal with electrical restoration, not
cosmetic. A very well done step by step restoration series. I can supply copies.
Or you may go to a library and find them for yourself and make copies. The
issues are; April, May, June, July and September. Note that August is skipped!

4. I have reproductions of the decal located on the lower left of the drop down
front door. There are two versions. The letters "MCA" (Minerva Corporation of
America) are in gold or in red. I have either one available.

5. My military model has been completely restored to original appearance by
N0ALO, Lynn Brock. The color of these sets, thought to be a crinkle gray, turned
out to be incorrect. There is actually some blue mixed in. When HCI Web Master
KA1DGL, Fred Mooney has the time, photos will be posted on the web site in the
'Halli's Wanna Be's' area.

If any material that I have would be of assistance to you, please contact me. I
will copy it and send it to you for cost plus postage. Add $2 per decal, if
desired. Specify gold or red!
