[Boatanchors] (Boatanchors] 6U8, 6EA8 vs 6GH8A substitute

 They are excellent in critical applications like HF/VHF signal path
mixers/osc where it counts.
Down in the IF or in premixers, 2nd mixers, etc the 6EA8 is just as good.
They are both a hot running tube, some air circulation helps longevity.
