There are several good tube testers out there that will work great for =
you.  You want one that measures mutual conductance, tests oldies as =
well as 7 pin and 9 pin subminiature.  Has updated test settings for =
later tubes. If it doesn't have mutual conductance, then you just don't =
want it.   I am familar with a couple of testers, such as the military =
TV-7 which I have and is a great tube tester.  I also have a Hickock 605 =
which is highly rated.  The Hickock 600 and 539 are also highly rated.  =
There are plenty of others out there that I'm not familar with.  Again =
the key to look for no matter which one:  Mutual conductance, old tubes =
as well as 7 pin, 9 pin subs, good setup charts and updates.  Good luck,
