Hi Dick,

This is a pretty common meter.  I see them at hamfests all the time for under 
twenty dollars and some bargaining can usually be done from there.  Many are 
in very nice shape.  Sounds like yours is kinda sad and will probably cost 
more to fix up than it is worth.  I doubt you will ever find a meter case 
unless you strip another one for parts.  Therein lies the tale.
