I just acquired this thing and it looks pretty bad. A broken resistor,
some loose wires, corroded battery holder, cracked meter face, missing
tubes, etc. etc.

Don't know if it is worth restoring or not. As far as I can tell, this
was built in the early to mid '50s but I have no specs on it nor a
schematic.

What can you tell me about it and is it worth restoring, or would
anyone like to have it. I remember back then this was considered a
fine instrument.
