[Boatanchors] Cathode keying with electronc keyers

I'd like to use my electronic keyer with with various cathode keyed vintage 
xmtrs such as the DX-20, 35, 40 series and others.  Has anyone seen a design 
for an interface to key the high positive current and voltage of these rigs 
without destroying the output transistor of the keyer?
