KG4GON forwarded a drawing from   http://www.cbtricks.com/
which had a schematic for the D & A Raider... but the circuit is quite different from the unit now on the bench.  The drawing shows five tubes as a ground-grid amp - 4 parallel sweep tubes as PA and one as RF detector/relay driver.  That is definitely not what I've got here.  I've got an xtal osc, buffer, and two PAs.  Vedddy interesting... doesn't look like a modification, the soldering is all consistent and very professional, maybe a special edition by a worker at the factory?

Or were these offered as kits and someone built it to be a self-contained transmitter?
