All vintage gear of all flavors is always welcome -
I had a birthday yesterday and now I am officially older than the dirt stuck in
the bag on my vintage Kirby vacuum! But I will be on the air on October 23rd at
7:00 PM EDT, (2300 UTC) for the HCI Global Glow roundtable pre-Net. I hope to
still be on the air at 8:00 PM EDT, (0000 UTC) for the roundtable proper.
The frequency will be 14.315 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
sound of my grandson hollowing out a very large pumpkin with a motorized post
hole digger. Noisy, pumpkin inerds and seends fly everywhere and that two cycle
engine blows more stinking exhaust smoke than a tag team of sumo wrestlers on a
pinto bean and cheap beer diet! Then he sketches the facial features on the
pumpkin with a felt tip marker, scores them with a razor blade linoleum knife
and does his practice Martial arts kicks to knock out the various pieces. Well
at least he is not trying to impail the neighbors Siamese cat with a flaming
arrow as he did two years ago. I did not say too much about that unfortunate
event, being as the stupid cat was chewing on my 9913f feedline like it was a
toy rubber mouse.
I hope to hear many of you this evening on the HCI Global Glow. So bring a tale
to tell, some facts to share and let's have some vintage fellowship with those
wonders that still go glow in the night.
