Utter rubbish!
Vishay is the largest U.S. and European manufacturer of passive electronics
components and is the #2 manufacturer of discrete semiconductors
worldwide.Yes, they did buy out Sprague, and lots of other big name
component manufacturers in Europe and America as well-but who's worried
about a name change?
