1965 and '66 editions of Grob and Kiver's 588-page Basic

Trade school: very good for mentoring or brushing up on both tube and early
transistor, non-engineering-level electronics. $5 each + shipping
Heathkit IT-21 tube tester. Your basic emissions tester, it
handles a wide range of types: both the 4,5,6,7-pin oldies and the
9,10,11,12-pin compactrons. Manual included if my source can find it ...
good condx, works. I cleaned it physically and electrically; and re-taped
the roll chart to the drums (that was fun!) The loose, yellowed chart lens
could stand replacing, tho it doesn't foul the chart - $35 +
Hammarlund Outercom fm50a single-channel xtal-controlled tube FM
transceiver - currently 151.805; easily changed with widely-available
xtals. Tone board and sw added. Puts out 35 watts from 6146. Has
standby sw that turns off tx filaments - unplug the handset, and you have a
monitor rx that restricts who can tx on it. Bench tested v.g. - I replaced
a few tubes and lubed the switches. Includes A/C power cord (don't know if
the mobile inverter works), handset, handset hanger (manual available from
HI manuals for 10.79 ppd - [email protected]). $35 + about 21 lbs shipping.
FTGH (free to good home):
Hammardlund 12AX7 tube -tested soft on a Hickok 752A. Came from
the fm50a listed above; good for display or regenerative set. Good clear
lettering except for the "made" of "made in USA". Free
Tek 547 o'scope. Lights up, but trace way off. Good condx overall.
Can ship complete, but it's heavy - name a part, and if it comes off easy,
it's yours free - has 1A1 and D plugins, and P6105 probe.
Wants: reasonably-priced manuals for EICO 315 sig-genny, Johnson
"transceiver tester", CONAR 281 genny; CONAR catalogs except '72 and '75,
