If you are the proud owner of a WW2 Minerva Tropic Master morale receiver,
please respond. If you would like to be, please respond also.
If you need a decal for the bottom lower left hand side of the drop down front
door, I have excellent reproductions of them. Specify if "MCA" is in red or
gold! Cost is $2 postpaid.
If you know the date your set was manufactured, please let me know what it is.
It is generally found on the metal rim of the speaker housing frame. It is a six
digit number. It should end in 45, as in 1945.
I have a report of a set manufactured in late 1946, but the others are all from
1945.
I have all the original schematics and documentation that came with this set. I
also have the restoration articles by Mark Ellis.
FYI: the paint is not crinkle gray. It is a crinkle bluish gray.
The "Minerva Tropic Master" across the front is silk screened on, even in 1945.
According to N0ALO Lynn Brock.
