If you want superglue that can stick your fingers together before
you realize it try a hobby shop for something called Zap. CA glues
revoultionized model airplane building - you butt two pieces of balsa
together tightly, apply a bit of the thin Zap, wait a second, there's a puff
of eye irritating smoke and voila, they're strongly attached, in seconds.
It's like welding wood. The watered down consumer stuff they sell in
the check out aisle of S Mart as 'superglue' can't hold a candle to Zap
and others (prolly due to lawsuit fears from consumers w/ stuck fingers).
Zap also comes with a bit of teflon tubing to get it into those hard to reach
places. For gaps I like to use a baking soda filler (altho they sell a
micro-balloon filler) followed by Zap. Never tried to Zap a hard hat to an I
beam and hang by it tho ;))
