[Boatanchors] HCI Sunday Net Salutes Veterans

Yo humans, or whatever lower life form you carbon based stereoscopic bipedal
creatures are. Croak! It's me, Frogzilla, fresh from the warm springs and
everglade swamps of southern Florida. Great toasted tadpoles! That state has
more curves than a Rocky Mountain highway, if you catch my drift! Croak! What is
it they call a bikini? Morse Code: two dots and a dash! Not sure what they fed
those mosquitoes down there in the Everglades, probably tourists with bad credit
cards, but they are certainly plump and nutritious. 	
	
Join me, and what's his name?, for the HCI 20 meter Net on Sunday November 10th
as we honor the veterans from the USA and Canada. Although Monday November 11th
is the actual day when we pay tribute to these who have given all creatures,
even humans, their freedom from tyranny, oppression and Sigmund Freud, there is
no Net on Monday. So be there at 12:45 PM EST, (1745 UTC), for the pre-Net when
the blind dude tries to get his equipment tuned up and hopefully not splatter
every TV set within a half mile area. If only he could splatter during those
horrible dumber than a dead twig infomercials that are on every cable and
satellite channel in the early hours each day, he would probably get some kind
of international award for airway pollution cleansing! Croak!      	
	
You are NOT dismissed, so sit your buttocks back down in that overstuffed chair
and try to pay attention! After all of that overeating in Florida, I need more
aerobic exercise. I might just hop over to your pad and swat you around like the
unfortunate dragonfly we played Badminton with during the Summer. So be there at
1:15 PM EST, (1815 UTC), for the official start of the Net. And if you see that
egotistical, smart mouth, overbearing former Marine DI who does that Mail Call
show on the History Channel, you tell him I will swamp mud wrestle him any day
he can get his lily white rump to my lily pad! Just don't tell him that I think
for an old fart, he is pretty cool.  		
The frequency will be 14.293 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the
sound of those infernal disoriented ducks circling over the pond honking like
teenagers blowing their car horns at a drive-in movie when the film in the
projector jams during the cartunes! I think the rf from the blind dude's
antennas has somehow changed the magnetic field in the piece of iron in their
little brains they use for guidance. Maybe Green Peace can get them a GPS unit
for Christmas! Croak! Hey! They bought the Seals in the Arctic fur coats when
their hair fell out from the hole in the Ozone layer!   	
	
I will hear you tomorrow, so be there or be out fertilizing your nearest swamp
or wet land. Show some respect and gratitude for all of those brave humans who
gave their lives, in many cases literally, so the rest of us could be free.
Monday is Veterans Day in the USA and Remembrance Day in Canada. Thank a
veteran, for without them, you would be just so much fertilizer right now.
