[Boatanchors] Hallicrafters SR-150 RIT Center Freq Adjust

Hello Anchorites -

I'm continuing the project of restoring a Hallicrafters SR-150 transceiver. 
I've made tremendous headway, but have a question regarding adjustment of 
the RIT. The RIT circuit has been restored to functionality, but the RIT 
center frequency is off by most of the 2 kc shift. The manual does not 
specify an adjustment procedure for the RIT center frequency, and 
examination of the schematic leaves me with questions. So, is there an RIT 
center frequency adjustment procedure? Or is it somehow managed in doing 
the IF/RF tuning in a fashion that is not obvious to me?
