[Boatanchors] Question about tube testers

Hello all,

I have a B&K model 747 Tube Tester that tests all the
'modern' (funny how that term sounds nowadays!) tubes
but none of the 'old' tubes - 4, 5 and 6 pin flavors. I'm
mostly interested in testing old triodes.

Surely there is a 'modern' triode (with more than 4 pins)
that I could build a simple adapter to mate with a 4-pinner
to test my old 45's, 171's, 2A3's, 205D's (ok - kidding on
that one :-)

Seems silly to buy ancient technology just to test a 4 pin
tube.

Has anyone done this? Anyone know of a few 'modern'
triodes that I could 'steal' the settings from to test my
1940's triodes?

Thank you,
