Actually "Tube Lore" by Ludwell Sibley confirms that WEC-301A is an 83 type Hg rectifier and not a WEC version of the 01A triode amplifier used in 20's battery sets. Tube Lore says the WEC 221D, 235D were 01A equivalents. Greg Hunolt
