[Boatanchors] Off Topic -- Horses Fence RFI

Folks --

This is kinda off the BA topic, but I do BA gear, and couldn't find a place
for this post, so I figured I'd try the boatanchors list anyway.

It's nice living in a rural area, and I love seeing more horses in the
adjacent fields as opposed to houses, but with horses come horse fences.

Wasn't really a problem up until recently -- the noise limiters on the
SX-101A could take care of it. But with a new fence, the problem's gotten
rather annoying, where the 101A can't handle it and the HQ-170 can't even
try....

I've read the RFI handbook sections etc, so I'm not too worried about
approaching Farmer Brown about the source end of the problem. What I'd like
to know is what solutions on the BA receiver end have you guys found
beneficial for this type of RFI?

I've been looking at the MFJ-1026 Noise Canceller etc.
