Hello everyone:
I have a neutralization question concerning the 6JS6 sweep tube. The
6JS6 is used in the Yaesu FT 101 and Henry Tempo one........maybe more
radios too.
I have been working on a Henery Tempo one transceiver. The schematic
calls for two 6JS6A tubes for the final. I am using Japanese 6JS6C's in
the circuit but am unable to neutralize the amplifier. I have padded
the capacitor feed back circuit with different combinations of
capacitors in order to stabilize the amplifier but no luck. I did find
some postings about the different neutralization requirements between
the two versions of the tube. Does anyone still have their bench notes
when they went thru this problem in the past? What value of capacitance
worked for you? Does anyone have a Tempo one schematic showing 6JS6C's
in the circuit? What value is the neutalization capacitor(s)? Also, has
any tried converting the final to 6146's?
Thanks
Greg
