Hello All,

A number of years ago, I had and still do have an interest in building a
Browning-Drake Radio. These usually had a Bakelite Panel.

The Australians have come up with an alternative to the Bakelite situation
and it looks really nice.

Check out the following URL and judge for yourself.

http://www.clarion.org.au/browning-drake/BuildBD.htm

Also, if you go to the following URL
http://www.users.bigpond.com/brianswireless/page2.html
and then click on bakelite at the top of the page in the third column it
will give you the price info.

I know it's a long ways away but it might be worth the wait.

Just my two cents worth.

Tks,

John Parker, RMCS(SS) USN (Ret), KD7KFT
