Aluminum wire is NEVER any good for a buried ground,
it corrodes away in months!

The National Electrical Code won't allow its use
within 18" of the ground.

Insulated aluminum is another story, that can be used
as direct buried conductorsa but even then if the
insulation gets nicked and water is allowed in the
conductor will be destroyed in a short time.
