[Boatanchors] skits-matic (???)

I love a bargain myself, and I'm proud of being 'thrifty' and 'frugal'. I think
this is really part of being a good ham, to be able to scrounge and find things for
little of nothing and make something from it. However, assuming it should be free
or only trying to find 'freebies' would, IMHO, be referred to as being 'cheap', and
not a really good approach to anything. I don't maind paying a fair price for
anything regardless of how frugal I may be, and I certainly expect to at least
reimburse someone for their time in copying or otherwise making something available
to me. Currently I have a deal pending with Al Parker for a R-390A tag he gave me a
year or so back and a knob he recently sent me. Rather than a cash deal, he just
wanted a swap, so I'm sending him a #80 rectifier tube for an old radio he has. He
only wanted a few bucks for the knob and gave me the tag with no stipulations or
return expected, but it's always good to repay those who are decent enough to help
out others so selflessly.
I'd be a lot more worried about the 'skits-matic' part myself. If ya can't spell
it, how ya gonna read it?? *grin*
