Weighted spinner for the S-Line is not actually a different knob, simply a cast
aluimium(?) skirt screwed onto the back of a standard finger-hole knob. Would be
two separate processes, the weighted skirt being the easiest probably as it's
less detailed. I think John Bess had some of the regular skirts made up a couple
years back, not sure about weighted ones.

On the older A-Line gear, the Daka-Ware knobs are tapped twice too, instead of
only being tapped once like other, near identical knobs. I've come into a number
of these over the years and the knob is basically identical other than the two
set screws. Some probably won't mind but those who are sticklers for
authenticity will. It does make for a firmer, more secure grip on the metal
shft, though.
