Amazon isn't the seller on used books, they just link to the various dealers
that are in their progam.  The dealers set the prices, I'll bet there
weren't 9 at $4.89, that was the lowest priced one, the highest was probably
$15.99.  I looked, & bought one at $5.20 I think, 'cuz the cheaper ones were
gone.  I looked at the condx & price.
