Hi!
Am restoring a Sommerkamp "Soka" 747 with the aid of a schematics diagram
of the Yaesu FTdx 560 which so far has served well enough though there
are a few differences. Also, this unit shows no amplification in the
receiver RF stage. So, any help on the following points would be most
welcome:
a) where to find the schematics of the "real" 747, 
b) identify the various traps and know their resonant frequencies, and
c) if there have been succesful attempts at substituting the 6KD6 PA
     tubes with some less cantankerous (and less expensive) breed?
 I would be happy to hear from anyone who has serviced
this transceiver and is willing to share his/her experiences.
