Ha Ha! I love it! Reminds me of George Barris and his habit of using used
chewing gum to patch rust spots on some cars he painted in the sixties. They
looked good, but tended to blow bubbles now and then!

You might try Earl Shibe, he did a hell of a wrinkle finish on my '78 Dodge.
